1971 Seiko LordMatic 5606-7070 purchased from Japan. A classic early-’70s LordMatic with a clean, understated silver dial and timeless vintage Seiko styling.The dial has a subtle sunburst finish, applied hour markers, and the original day/date display at 3 o’clock. The stainless-steel case shows some honest age and light wear while retaining its sharp original design.The watch is fitted with a new crystal and has been serviced, making this a particularly nice example for daily wear or a vintage Seiko collection. It is in excellent condition for the age. Everything works as it should. Day/date shift smoothly. Ticks strong. Keeps perfect time Japanese/English date wheel.New suede/ leather band. Inside is Seiko’s 23-jewel 5606 automatic movement, a respected 56-series caliber also found in King Seiko models.
