I am selling a fabulous Eberhard & Co Datoscaf 36. It doesn\'t get any more 1970s than this!!!! Pictures do not do this watch justice. Stunning in real life.
The watch is in very good condition overall. The case and bracelet are in excellent condition with no significant scratches, scuffs or dings. The dial, hands and hour markers have aged beautifully with the dial a fabulous champagne colour. There is a small area of discolouration in the bottom left hand corner of the dial which is visible in the pictures. The crown, bracelet and caseback are all correctly signed Eberhard.
The automatic movement is working well and the watch keeps excellent time - though service history is unknown and, as with all vintage watches, a service is recommended if this is to be a regular wearer. The crown functions correctly and the day and date change as they should. Day and date wheel is Italian.
Fabulous original steel bracelet closes securely at the clasp. It fits my 18cm wrist comfortably and there is about another 1cm adjustment available at the clasp so I\'d say it will fit an 18.5 - 19cm wrist.
These are very rare and seldom come up for sale anywhere - especially outside Italy. When they do, they are expensive!
