Rare Couroc of Monterey serving tray. Inlaid wood and brass make a whimsical bird motif. Signed “Pat”. Pat Meyers was prominent designer who created hand-inlaid collage designs for Couroc of Monterey in the 1960s. Tray measures 12 3/8” x 17 7/8”. It is made of a proprietary black satin phenolic resin that is resistant to alcohol and boiling water. The tray is in very good condition for its age. There are a few smudges near the sun/moon, as well as very light scratch above the left bird’s head and another scratch at the bottom just above the curved edge.
