A rare and exceptionally large original exhibition poster by Roy Lichtenstein, produced for his exhibition at the legendary Leo Castelli Gallery in New York, held from April 28 to May 19, 1979, at 420 West Broadway.
This is the large-format version of the poster, measuring approximately 90.8 × 129.5 cm (35 3/4 × 51 in.). This corresponds to the large version documented by specialist sale and art-market sources.
Published by Leo Castelli Gallery and printed by Poster Originals, Ltd., New York, for the 1979 exhibition. The poster was designed by Richard Haymes.
