1957–58 EMUD T7 West German Tube Radio • 110V U.S. Export Model • Beautiful Original Condition
Offered here is a beautifully preserved EMUD T7 tube radio, manufactured by Ernst Mästling in Ulm, West Germany for the 1957/1958 model year.
This radio belonged to my father and has been in the family for many years. Cosmetically, it is an exceptional survivor. The high-gloss wood cabinet remains beautiful, with rich grain and excellent shine. The original-style grille cloth, glass dial, knobs, pushbuttons, trim and removable rear panel are all present, and the radio displays wonderfully.
The T7 was a U.S.-market export model operating on 110V AC and features AM, FM and shortwave reception, a seven-tube circuit and a three-speaker system.

Electrical condition
This radio has not beenprofessionally tested.No claim is made regarding the condition of individual tubes, capacitors, transformers or other electrical components.everything looks to be present. However, I am not knowledgeable about anything about this radio.
Cosmetic Condition
The cabinet is extraordinarily well preserved! This radio approaching 70 years old and has a gorgeous mirror-like wood finish all around.
The front is in excellent condition with no stains. There is a small wear spot on the material which is barely visible under the left of the speaker (as shown in pictures)
Please examine all photographs carefully. There are some minor age-related marks and small areas of wear, including some finish loss on the side speaker grille, along with normal dust and possible patina internally.
I have tried to photograph the radio thoroughly, including the cabinet, chassis, tubes, speakers, controls, wiring, rear connections and back panel so the buyer can evaluate its condition.
This is a vintage unrestored electronic item and is being sold as shown and described.
A wonderful candidate for a knowledgeable tube-radio collector or restorer, and an exceptionally attractive example for display even in its present condition!
