WHAT I FOUND IS THE FOLLOWING ON MR. MACHENBERG:

Donald Ellis Machenberg passed away peacefully on October 18, 2024 in Graham, Texas, shortly after celebrating his 90th birthday. Don was born on September 27, 1934 in Queens, New York to Martha Wunstel Machenberg and Charles Cecil Machenberg. He graduated from Notre Dame University in South Bend, IN after winning a full New York state ROTC scholarship. After serving his first three years as a Marine Corps officer, he began his business career at Allis Chalmers in Milwaukee, WI. He rose to a Vice President position there, moved on to Siemens, and then to ITT in New Jersey. Don was very proud of his service in the United States Marine Corps. He served in active duty and the reserves for over 20 years, retiring with the rank of Major.

After his retirement from business, he and his wife settled in Graham, where he enjoyed working in the community. He was especially active with the Humane Society and the Lions Club where he held various leadership positions.
