Up for sale is an exquisite antique set of 11 fine French porcelain plates. Crafted in France from warm ivory porcelain (Ivoire de France), these luxury plates were custom-retailed by the renowned Philadelphia jewelers and silversmiths The Bailey, Banks & offerdle Co.
Each plate features a vibrant center spray of flowers, surrounded by a gold lace/filigree inner border, an ornate multi-color floral rim, and heavy gold gilded edging. Measuring approximately 7.5 inches in diameter, they are ideally sized for desserts, salad courses, appetizers, or afternoon tea service.
