Sideshow Collectibles Colossus Premium Format - damaged / custom project
This is a project I started a long time ago, kind of got put on the back burner and has stayed there due to life changes and other commitments. I don't know when I will be available to start on it again but I feel it's a shame to let it sit in a box unfinished. So here is a list of what's done and what needs to be done to get it across the finish line
Completed:- started conversion to fully sculpted "astonishing costume"- stripped paint- added segment lines on exposed skin areas- professionally chromed by Creations n' Chrome- modified boots- added costume details
Needs to be done:- belt- reattach gauntlets (this is not technically astonishing but i liked the way they looked)- finish costume details if you want to add any more wrinkles or seams- touch up chrome in armpit (I was an idiot and left tape on the chrome for years, it held up in all areas except for a small segment in the armpit. could be easily touched up with spaztix or alclad chrome and blend right in)- paint- reattach hands after everything is painted
Please let me know if you have any questions, I am willing to offer advice on how to go about reattaching the hands and gauntlets if needed but do not have time to do it myself
