Spode Blue Italian meat juice and gravy separator jug, made in England. This unusual serving piece has a handle and two opposing pouring sides. The small strainer holes inside the jug lead to one spout; the other side pours directly.
The blue and white transfer design shows Spode’s classic Italian landscape and floral border. The underside is marked “Spode,” “Made in England,” “Italian,” and “Spode Design C.1816,” with a faint 42/A6 code consistent with production circa 2006. C.1816 refers to the introduction of the pattern, not the age of this jug.
