Items are closely examined, making sure they do not have any stains, or unpleasant smells. If needed, items are properly cleaned. If they have any defects or worn spots they will be stated above. They are stored in a clean environment until sent to the buyer.
My Mailing Procedure
I personally deliver all my packages to the post office Monday - Friday (unless states that my handling day is more than one business day) to ensure packages are shipped out the same day or next day of purchase.
