Gorgeous antique late Edwardian women\'s hat, c. 1917-1918, featuring a stunning asymmetrical design with a black raffia brim, yellow straw crown, and decked with a combination of horsehair \"plumage\", celluloid grapes, and floral silk flower \"puffs\". It\'s in very good condition, some breakage to the black raffia along the interior brim, silk missing from one of the puffs and a handful of the grapes missing or cracked, tiny tear in black lining, no bad smells. Interior circumference is approximately 23\" or 59 cm. Just a stunning Edwardian woman\'s hat, sturdy enough to be worn, perfect for display, quality enough for a museum.
