The sound is halfway between Strawberry Alarm Clock and Ultimate Spinach, though they never quite reach the heights of the former’s songwriting nor the latter’s experimentation. Pretty lysergic music overall, nonetheless. The aforementioned cover, “Trip to the Zoo,” “Crystalescent Heaven.”
