Up for sale/sale is aheavy glass beer stein with what I believe is a city or park image and thewords "Build with the "Texaco Star Logo" Home Team". I tried to date this mug, but was unable tofind any other examples. After all my research, the only tie in I found waswith the Texaco organization in Hawaii, "Texaco's Home TeamSweepstakes", is this the source?
The mug bears an image of theTexaco star, the image and text are in excellent "Nearly New" condition,with no chips or cracks. The rough overall measurements are 5 5/8" tall,with a 2 3/4" rim, is 4 3/8" wide at the handles, has a 2 3/4"heavily weighted base, and holds a full 12oz of your favorite concoction.
