A handsome complete six volume set. Volumes One through Five are Near Fine to Fine, remaining sound, unmarked, and firmly bound. Their unclipped dust jackets range from Good to Very Good, showing general shelf wear, a few small closed tears to the jacket of Volume Two, and a bit of loss at the head of the jacket on Volume Five. Volume Six is an ex library copy with a card pocket on the front free endpaper, a memorial bookplate on the half title page, a faint ghost at the foot of the jacket spine where a label was once present, light scattered foxing to the fore edge, and tape shadows to the boards from an earlier jacket protector. Despite these institutional marks, the volume remains attractive and displays beautifully alongside the rest of the set. All jackets are now protected in archival sleeves and none are price clipped.
