Bonus item included: Background for War, by the editors of Time, a booklet reprinted from recent issues of TIME, with a 5 cent cover price. It features a two-page Battlegrounds of Europe map by R.M. Chapin Jr., reprinted from the August 28, 1939 issue. A small TIME promotional insert card with globe artwork is also included. The magazine and the booklet were both mailed to the same original subscriber, and each carries its original subscriber mailing label.
Condition: the TIME cover shows chipping along the spine edge, the back cover shows edge wear with a corner chip, and the Canadian Club ad page has a tear along its top edge. The bonus booklet's front cover shows a red discoloration at top center. Please refer to all photos for condition details.
