Tom Waits Big Time 1988 Original VHS Promo Poster Fries Home Video Vintage For Sale

Original1988 Tom WaitsBig Timepromotional poster from the Fries Home Video release.

This is a great piece of early Tom Waits memorabilia with the wonderfully strange, colorful artwork fromBig Time. The poster advertises the concert film and includes the originalFries Home Video, Island Visual Arts, VHS Hi-Fi and Dolbymarkings along the bottom.

Big Timewas filmed during Tom Waits performances at the Warfield Theatre in San Francisco and the Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles in 1987 and released in 1988. The poster also carries the Rolling Stone Critics Poll quote,“Best Live Performance of the Year.”

This copy has definitely been used and displayed. It has heavy creasing and wrinkling throughout, edge and corner wear, small tears and surface wear. I’ve left it exactly as I found it rather than attempting to flatten, repair or restore it.

Despite the wear, the colors are still wonderfully strong and the main artwork is complete. It has a great genuinely aged look to it.
