Vintage Tudor Oyster Ref. 4453, dating from approximately the 1940s.
The watch is running well and winding correctly.
The dial has been kept in remarkably good condition considering the age of the watch, retaining its attractive cream/silver appearance, clear Arabic numerals and original vintage character. It features beautiful blued hands and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o\'clock.
The manual-wind movement is signed TUDOR – SWISS MADE – 17 RUBIES.
The inside case back is correctly signed TUDOR – GENEVA-SWITZERLAND – PATENTED, while the outside of the case back is marked Reference 4453.
The stainless-steel Oyster case shows normal scratches and age-related wear consistent with a watch of this age. The watch is fitted with a black leather strap.
A very attractive early Tudor Oyster 4453, particularly nice due to the condition and character of the dial.
