Up for your consideration is a United States Civil War Cannon Ball found at Antietam near Bloody Lane/Road. This was picked up by my Grandfather somewhere in his many travels. He was a British Military Officer during World War II and later a Diplomat. This had been displayed in my office for many years. Very, very heavy for its size, it measures 14 inches around. This is a smooth bore solid shot. Weights about 30-40 pounds I would guess. I can provide a signed letter of history as I know of the piece. The product is a Confederate cannon ball found at the Antietam Battlefield, a significant site of the U.S. Civil War. This authentic piece of militaria from the United States carries historical significance and is a collector's item that represents the conflict of 1861-65.
