UNUSUAL Little 2.75\" Pouty Sad Gebruder Heubach Bisque Doll Head, Mold 7848 For Sale

UNUSUAL little bisque shoulder-head by Gebruder Heubach....c. 1910....unusual in its small size AND unusual because of its expression....pouty isn\'t quite the right word....appears mournful....has the square Heubach mark....mold number appears to be 7848, which I\'ve been unable to locate in my books....approximately 2 3/4\" tall....shoulder-plate measures 1 3/4\" from shoulder to shoulder (1 7/8\" including the bisque) by 1 1/4\" deep (1 3/8\" including the bisque)....Very Good Condition....bisque is near-perfect with the exception of one tiny flake along the inside shoulder-plate edge, which may have happened during the original manufacture....a few little, minor paint rubs, including on the tip of the nose and back of the head/hair....from a non-smoking and pet-free home....***PLEASE NOTE the last four photos are with the flash off***....please study all photos, feel free to ask questions, and be sure to check out my other interesting antique sales!
