Up for sale is a complete United States Military M1945 combat field pack assembly. This group includes the upper field combat pack manufactured byArakelian Co., the matching lower cargo pack, and the original M1945 field suspenders. The canvas color on the upper and lower sections matches up very well, giving the entire rig great shelf appeal.Condition and Internal Lining DetailsThis pack group is in solid, collector-grade vintage shape:
The upper combat pack features a difficult to readArakelian Co. manufacturer mark stamp.
The lower cargo pack features a clear 1946 contract date stamp.
The internal rubberized lining on the 1946 lower pack remains soft and flexible. The original printed paper instruction sheet is completely gone and no longer present.
The upper combat pack features an original internal rubberized lining that is a mix of soft and semi-hardened sections but is structurally stable (see photos).
The exterior canvas is mostly clean with some soiling and field wear, featuring visible front U.S. stencils.
All original closing web straps, metal adjustment buckles, and connection hardware are entirely present and functional.Suspension Hardware NoteThe attached original M1945 canvas field suspenders feature all-original brass hardware hooks that function properly. One rear hook exhibits a slight bend and tape wrap at the base.Cross-Promotion and Shipping NotePlease check my other listings for the original matching US military folding entrenching shovel and M1943 carrier seen attached in the secondary gallery photos.
