Up for sale is a vintage US Military M1 style steel combat helmet lot, featuring an M81 woodland camouflage PASGT fabric cover.Please note that this is a put-together/refurbished gear lot rather than a factory-original complete set. The outer shell is a classic heavy M1 steel pot. The interior fiberglass/plastic liner has been outfitted with non-standard replacement nylon suspension webbing and a leather sweatband, making it great for display, costuming, or historical reenactors who want a wearable piece without damaging a pristine museum artifact.Condition:Used, surplus condition. The fabric cover shows authentic wear, including fraying and saltiness around the foliage slits. The inner liner and webbing show signs of age and manual assembly.
