Veined Threaded Iridescent Bohemian Art Glass Vase Antique Pallme-König / KralikDescription and Item Information
Up for sale is this antique Bohemian art glass vase. Please excuse any glare in the photos. This textured glass vase has applied veining, or threading, in contrast to the smooth, iridescent surface. The flat rim is ground and polished. The vase stands approximately 14 1/4 inches tall and has a maximum diameter of about 6 inches. Unpacked, it weighs 4 pounds 0.3 ounce. This would make a fabulous addition to a collection of antique European art glass.Identification
This unsigned Bohemian art glass vase is antique, dating to about 1900, although the exact age is not known. Both Pallme-König and Kralik produced veined décor, so this piece was likely made by one of those two firms.Condition
This vase presents very well overall, with minor wear and no cracks. There are a few tiny, scattered flakes on the edges of the top rim, which may have occurred during the factory grinding process. There are scratches beneath the vase, as expected for old glass. The interior is a bit dusty. I have not cleaned it. Please review the description and photos, and ask any necessary questions prior to offerding or buying.Terms of Sale1. Payments
