The back of the painting has a clear piece of lucite for the visibility of the artist's signature. Naumova Tamara Sergeevna was born in 1923 in Orenburg. In 1949 she graduated from the Kiev Art Institute, where she studied with A. Shovkunenko and V. Kostetskiy. Since 1954 she took part in exhibitions. Member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1958. The artist is known for her gentle, “pastel” still life and landscapes. She worked mainly in the field of easel painting. The main works: “In the Loose” (1956); “Morning” (1957); “People’s talents” (1960); “Lenin is alive!” (1964); “The arrival of M. Shchepkin to T. Shevchenko in Nizhny Novgorod” (1964) and others. Naumova Т.S. lived and worked in Kiev.
