Up for sale is a highly collectible, vintage post-war American Flyer768 Shell Oil Supply Depot S-Gauge layout accessory, produced by theA.C. Gilbert Company around 1950.This is the scarcer and much more sought-after Shell version featuring twosingle-dome tank car bodies printed with SEPX 8681 graphics.The shell tanks are in very good condition. The decals, capacity markings,and lettering are clean, legible and unmarred.The green metal base shows some typical light scratches, minor pay wear,and light paint loss from age and handling, but remains solid and straight.The watchman\'s shack is structurally sound but is missing the tiny metal roofsmoke/stack/chimney.This item is being sold in uncleaned, unaltered, original condition.No restoration, no touch-up paint, and no modern adhesives have been applied.This accessory is being sold as-is * as found * as pictured.Ships from a smoke-free and pet-free environment.
