Made by Royal Dalton is an English porcelain factory famous for its porcelain figurines. They are known for their quality and intricate workmanship. The subject is a young girl dancing, as her skirts swirl around her creating a sense of motion and elegance. It measures 5.75” high. There are no cracks, chips, nor crazing. The back stamp has a crown above a lion, the classic mark after receiving a royal warrant. The designer was M. Davies, it is marked with HN2216. HN is the legendary lead artist, Harry Nixon, who headed the painting department at Royal Dalton and 2216 is the item number.
