A telephone pole rises beside the house. The back bears a penciled inscription dated 1917 with a name or label that is partly legible — it appears to read either \"My Powers home\" or \"Old Robie house,\" and the handwriting does not resolve cleanly enough to state either with certainty. The AZO photographic-paper stamp box with triangles pointing up dates the card stock to circa 1904-1918 — consistent with the 1917 inscription.The divided back is otherwise unposted: no stamp, no postmark.Condition NotesVery good vintage condition. The photographic image is sharp with good contrast; light edge wear and mild toning at the edges.
