Up for sale is a rare and authentic piece of Pacific Northwest luthiery history: a 4/4 full-size handmade violin crafted in May 1937 by local luthier Fred M. Jacobson (op. No. 22) in Bellingham, Washington.
This instrument comes with a clear, intact original paper label inside the F-hole reading "FRED M. JACOBSON / 1419 Central Ave. Bellingham, Wash." along with handwritten text marking "1937 No. 22".
