The handmade pleated detailing of the clutch is lovely. However, what makes the purse is the large art deco style, metal, rhinestone studded, dimensional clasp. The clasp does have a few missing rhinestones and is sold as is. A card enclosed in the clutch states the material for it came from British India. India was no longer under British rule after 1947, so that dates the material prior to that time. There are a couple spots inside the lining but the material itself is in good condition, see pictures. Note some material condition issues around the exterior edges. Found in the clutch and included in the purchase is a change purse. The clutch material appears a bit faded which is noted when the clutch is open and you can see the material that is covered by the flap.Pictures are close up to show detail. I encourage you to enlarge them further for more perspective. They are part of the description.
