Vtg Native American Reclaimed Azurite-Chrysocolla-Shattuckite & Quartz Sterling Pendant;Coodinating Bracelet & Ring also for sale; Unusual, Unique Stone!This unusual pendant features an Arizona-mined stone called, \"Arizona Blue Lighting.\" It is a natural amalgam of azurite (dark blue), chrysocolla (light blue), and shattuckite (dark blue) in white quartz. I had it specially constructed using a traditional Native American pendant mounting that had a broken turquoise stone. I had it made to coordinate with a stunning vintage, traditional, original Native American sterling cuff that I purchased 40+ years ago. I also had another pendant and ring constructed, all of which you can view in the last photo. When I purchased this bracelet 40+ years ago, I had no idea what the stone was then.Several years after I purchased it, I happened upon a listing from a couple of Arizona gem collectors who had some vintage cabochons for sale that looked just like the cuff! They explained that their rough was mined in the Tortolita Mountains in Southern Arizona. They added that it was no longer available (that they knew of) and their cabs had been made from leftover pieces in their rock bins. They called the stone, \"Arizona Blue Lighting.\" I purchased the cabs and had this pendant, another pendant, and a ring constructed using vintage Native American mountings (that originally housed broken turquoise cabs). I\'ve held onto these pieces over the years because of their uniqueness and the happenstance that brought them all together.Sadly, I\'m listing and selling them separately but hope they will each find a good home and maybe find their way back together at some time.
