Charming vintage two-piece Westmoreland milk glass rooster-on-nest covered dish. The opaque white rooster lid features molded feather detailing, a bright red painted comb and wattle, scattered dark feather accents, and a green painted border. It rests on a matching oval nest bowl with a beaded rim and vertical ribbing.
Approximately 5 inches tall.
No Westmoreland mark. "5" is stamped in the bottom.
The glass fluoresces green under UV light, as shown in the photographs. A lovely addition to a milk glass, chicken, or farmhouse décor collection.
