Very Rare 1607 Euclid Elements by Christophoro Clavio Exquisite math history For Sale

A very rare 1607 copy of Euclid\'s Elements and his later works in Latin. The covers are in bad shape and only held by by the threads albeit all of them and completely. The bindings is tight and the interior pages are quite clean. Minimal foxing for this age. As the pics show there is significant wear to the leather and some missing spine at top. It\'s a wonderful piece of maths history as it sits and would be stunning rebound. Very rare to find a Euclid this old.Oldest copy on by far.
