I have been selling on for over 23 years. About 18 years ago, I started to buy and sell jewelry. I had a marvelous connection and was doing well. Then unfortunately, a bulk of my inventory was stolen except for a small box that was hidden in my closet. This necklace was in that box.
A lot has happened in the past 18 years and now here I am finally getting around to listing it. It has been stored in my smoke free home/closet for 18 years along with 2 others I will be listing seperately.
To me, this necklace is a masterpiece. The clasp is 14k yellow gold. There is no metal chain which would make it too heavy. All of the pearls are strung on silver metallic yarn/thick string. Please zoom in on the photos. There are 3 strands on each side that lead up to the pearl party in the front. There are roughly 60 individual beaded pearl strands that are knotted on and hang down in the front area.
This piece would be perfect to give as a gift or keep for yourself!
I do not have a wonderful jewelry box to put it in. When I received it and the others, it was in one of the plain, long jewelry boxes. I will look for a replacement box as the one here is 18 years old, but I would imagine that the owner of it will either have it on display or put it in something special.
