Features a black textured exterior, brass-tone hardware, leather-style handle, and gold/tan patterned fabric interior with gathered storage pocket in the lid. One hardware piece is stamped with patent information including PAT 1719360, a patent issued in 1929, which supports an early vintage date for the hardware.
Condition is heavily used and age-worn, appropriate for its age. Exterior shows scuffs, edge wear, surface loss, oxidation/tarnish to the hardware, and wear around the corners. The handle and its attachment areas show significant age-related wear. Interior fabric has staining, discoloration, spotting, and general wear.
