Vintage pair of Made in Japan nesting trinket boxes, dating approximately to the 1930s–1940s.
These charming octagonal pottery boxes feature hand-painted floral decoration in rich red, green, teal, yellow and orange tones, along with molded detailing around the sides. The smaller box nests neatly inside the larger one.
Marked Made in Japan on the underside.

Small: approx. 2.5” H × 3.5” W — 8 oz
Condition:
Good vintage condition for their age. Both pieces show substantial overall crazing, age-related discoloration/patina, and surface wear. Remarkably, there are no chips or cracks noted. Please review photos closely for the exact condition and appearance.
