Description:Up for sale is a rare, original mid-1930s Majestic \"Rubberset Sleetchaser\" Electric Windshield Defroster (No. 33) made by Z-B Products Co. in Lynn, Mass.
Designed for vintage 6-volt automotive electrical systems, this unit features a glass panel with internal heating elements set in a brown frame, held to the inside windshield by heavy rubber vacuum cups to melt sleet and ice.
This is a phenomenal display piece for collectors of early automotive accessories, rat rod builders, classic 1930s Ford/Chevy restoration enthusiasts, or vintage gas and oil automobilia display.
Condition Report (Please Read Carefully):
Defroster Unit & Glass: Clean condition for its age. Glass is intact with heating wires intact. Frame is solid.
Suction Cups: Included, but as expected for 90-year-old rubber, they are hardened/warped and no longer functional for actual suction (strictly for display).
Box: Includes the complete original graphic display box! Vibrant Art Deco graphics. Box shows edge wear, corner splits, tape repairs, and light toning, but holds together well and displays exceptionally well.
