- Ground fabric is original white flour / feed sack cotton with faint ghost lettering visible: \"...OLL F...\" / \"...AND LIMIT...\" (POUND LIMIT). Reads correctly left-to-right, not a transfer - this IS the sack.
- Border is vintage lavender / purple calico dress print feed sack / shirting print.
- Turkey red solid center and feet.
- Cream diamond fillers at each corner are intentionally a slightly darker muslin - original to construction (13 pieces per block).CONSTRUCTION:
- Hand appliqued, hand quilted with diamond crosshatch quilting in red blocks.
- Thin cotton batting.
- Clean muslin backing.CONDITION: Gently washed in bathtub with Restoration. No harsh chemicals or bleach. This piece is on very good condition.
