Vintage Pre-WWII Hammer Brand 2-Blade Folding Pocket Knife manufactured in the USA by the Imperial Knife Company between 1936 and 1941. This piece features the distinct arm and hammer tang stamp on the secondary blade and the classic Imperial shell-bolster patent stamp (Pat No. 2037943) on the primary blade.CONDITION DETAILS:
Handles: The green, black, and cream marbled celluloid scales are in very good vintage condition. They remain tight to the metal liners with no major shrinkage, crystallization, or cracks.
Blades: The carbon steel blades show a significant aged dark patina and light surface corrosion/pitting as visible in the photos. Edges have been used and show typical wear for their age.
Mechanics: Decent spring tension and snap. Please carefully review all high-resolution close-up photos to verify the condition and stampings before purchasing or offerding. The knife is sold exactly as pictured.
