This authentic 1945 Real Photo Postcard (RPPC) provides a historical glimpse of Sheerness-on-Sea, Kent, just at the conclusion of WWII. The front captures a lively day at the beach, while the reverse features a clear August 1945 Sheerness-on-Sea postmark. It was sent to a Corporal William Haldeman in Manheim, Pennsylvania, and retains a red 2d King George VI stamp. The handwritten message in dark ink describes a \"lovely time and beautiful weather\" before returning to work. A fantastic piece for collectors of Kentish topography, WWII-era correspondence, or British postal history.Condition Report
