From my personal collection is this scarce vintage 1950s Gibbs-Conner Milwaukee Braves mascot ceramic razor bank. This fantastic early Braves collectible features an oversized caricature-style mascot dressed in a cream Braves uniform with red and black accents, colorful feather headdress, and a tomahawk resting over his shoulder.
The bank has a wonderful high-gloss glazed finish with a bright green base and hand-painted details throughout. The underside has the characteristic opening associated with these vintage razor banks.
Gibbs-Conner baseball banks are considerably harder to find than typical period baseball souvenirs, and Braves examples are especially appealing to collectors of Milwaukee Braves memorabilia, vintage baseball banks, and 1950s baseball ceramics.
Condition: Very nice vintage condition for its age with excellent color and gloss. Please review all photos carefully for the exact condition, including normal age-related and manufacturing imperfections. No attempt has been made to clean or restore the piece.
