For sale is a highly distinctive and collectible vintage mid-century Benrus manual-wind dress watch. This timepiece features exceptionally rare, architectural scrolled ram\'s horn style lugs (often classified as \"triple scroll\" or \"ram\'s head\" lugs). They flare dynamically outward from the case before terminating in tight, ornamental curls—a true hallmark of high-end 1940s and 1950s case design.
The dial is equally remarkable, boasting a textured honeycomb/crosshatch pattern, applied gold-tone indices, and a dedicated sub-second subdial positioned at 6 o\'clock.
The watch is in overall very fine to near-mint (NM) cosmetic condition. The dial face shows a light, even, and highly desirable vintage patina that beautifully catches the light and highlights its authentic mid-century character.
