Vintage mid-century modern Red Wing Pottery "Tampico" pattern tall pitcher in the Futura shape, featuring hand-painted watermelon and melon motifs on a speckled cream ceramic body. This specific pitcher was manufactured between 1956 and 1967. Designed by Charles Murphy as part of the elegant, asymmetrical "Futura" line for Red Wing Pottery, the Tampico pattern officially debuted in 1956, immediately winning the top award at the National China, Pottery and Glass show that same year.
