Up for sale is an incredibly charming, authentic mid-century modern ceramic cat shaker from the legendary 1958 Cozy Kitten collection by Holt Howard. This highly collectible piece features a sweet white kitty adorned with a pink polka-dot scarf, green lenticular \"winking\" eyes, and a hand-painted pink nose and ears.Noisemaker & Condition Details:The Noisemaker: This piece incredibly still has its original internal meow/squeaker bellows cylinder! Please note that the mechanism is currently silent and does not produce sound when tilted, but having the physical insert present is a massive rarity for Holt Howard collectors. It is being left unglued so the future owner can decide how to preserve or restore it.Cosmetic Condition: The ceramic body is bright and clean with no major cracks or heavy chips. There is typical fine vintage glaze crazing consistent with 1950s Japanese ceramics. The winking lenticular eye effect changes nicely when tilted.
