Absolutely stunning vintage ivory and gold brocade dress dating approximately to the 1960s–early 1970s, based on the ILGWU union label.
This is an exceptionally ornate sleeveless dress featuring a beautiful textured ivory/cream brocade fabric woven with metallic gold abstract paisley motifs. The dress is finished with elaborate dimensional gold braided soutache trim and gold ball accents outlining the V-neckline, center front and hem.
The fitted bodice flows into a softly A-line skirt, creating a flattering vintage silhouette. A metal zipper runs down the center back.
The original ILGWU (International Ladies\' Garment Workers\' Union) union label is present, supporting a mid-century American-made garment dating to the 1963–1974 label era.
