Vintage Holy Bible published to commemorate Jamaican Independence in 1962. Authorised King James Version, printed by Collins' Clear-Type Press, London and Glasgow. Compact Fontana 16mo size in black leather-grain cover with the gold Jamaican coat of arms stamped on the front and "Collins" on the spine. It has red-tinted page edges and a blue ribbon marker. The "Presented to / By / Date" page is blank, with no inscription or writing.
Condition: Good vintage condition with honest wear for its age. The cover is rubbed and scuffed on both the front and back, with some fraying to the cloth along the spine and hinge at the head and tail. There is a small white spot at the base of the spine. The endpaper facing the presentation page has foxing and staining. The interior text is otherwise clean and readable, the binding is tight, and I found no loose or missing pages.
