As expected with a vintage model that has been stored and enjoyed over the years, there is visibleage-related wear throughout. The hood, trunk, doors, and other areas of the body have scratches, scuffs, and areas of light black/gray discoloration or residue. Both thefront and rear bumpers show light scratching, including one more noticeable scratch on the rear bumper behind the passenger side. Thefront and rear windows also have visible scratches.
There are a couple of small areas ofcream-colored paint-like debris/residueunderneath near the bumper area, along with some greenish-looking residue/debris toward the lower rear/trunk area. The underside shows additional normal age and storage wear. Please note that aprevious owner wrote “1963 Galaxy Ford” in black marker on the underside; this is previous-owner writing and is not being represented as an original factory marking.
Both theinterior and exterior would benefit from a careful deep cleaningby its new owner. I have left the model in its current vintage condition rather than attempting aggressive cleaning that could potentially affect the finish.
Despite the scratches, discoloration, residue, and normal wear from age and storage,this car is truly a beauty. The body presents very nicely overall and retains the wonderful lines and character of the classic 1963 Ford Galaxie. A fantastic vintage piece ready for its next collector to preserve, display, and enjoy. No Box.
