Up for sale is an authentic vintage 1974 Hasbro G.I. Joe Adventure Team Land Adventurer action figure body featuring Kung Fu Grip and includes camo jacket and an AT dog tag. This piece comes directly from a single-owner collection.
Item Details & Condition:
-Figure Body:1974 Kung Fu Grip variant. Features the original lifelike brown flock hair and matching painted beard. There are a few small, bare spots on the head (see photos). All joints hold a pose nicely except for the hands (see “Hands Note” below). There are small cracks on back of thigh pieces (see photos).
-Hands Note:True to the classic chemical composition breakdown of original 1974 rubber components, the gripper hands have hardened/become brittle. A completely natural and expected occurrence for a true survivor piece! The wrist joints don’t hold a pose, and several fingers have broken off the left hand. The finger pieces are included in a small plastic bag (see photos).
-Camouflage Jacket:Included is an early-issue, high-quality Land Adventurer jungle camo jacket featuring two chest pockets, real plastic buttons over functional metal snaps, and the original woven cloth "G.I. Joe By Hasbro Hong Kong" interior collar tag. Fabric is strong with bright camo colors.
-Adventure Team Dog Tag & Chain:Authentic vintage 1970s hard-plastic round medallion with raised "AT" emblem on front and "GI JOE by Hasbro" text on back. Eyelet is completely intact with no cracks or splits. Includes short ball chain (accessory length, not full neck length).
