Up for sale is a classic vintage 1976 Weekly Reader Children\'s Book Club edition of \"Benvenuto and the Carnival\" written by Seymour Reit and illustrated by Marilyn Miller.
Plot Summary:
This delightful nostalgic tale follows the adventures of Benvenuto, a friendly two-foot-long dragon who finds himself captured and placed inside a local traveling carnival.
Condition Notes (Please Read Before Buying):
This book is being sold strictly as an Acceptable / Vintage Reading Copy due to structural flaws:
• Binding: The internal paper hinge gutter at the title page is completely split open down the seam, exposing the raw fabric backing and structural binding underneath. The text block is delicate but remains attached.
• Pages: The internal text pages show age-appropriate toning, mild brown foxing/spotting along the top margins, and a small liquid stain mark on the top outer corner tips that does not affect readability.
• Cover: The illustrated hardcovers show typical vintage edge rubbing, shelf wear, and minor rounding at the corner tips.
Please review all the provided photographs closely to evaluate the exact condition before purchasing. This book will be securely packed to protect the corners and shipped safely via budget-friendly Media Mail. Comes from a smoke-free home.
