Vintage 1976 King Kong Plush Toy 14\" Mego Samet Wells Molded Plastic Face For Sale

Up for sale is an authentic Vintage 1976 King Kong Plush Toy (14-inch version). This classic piece of pop culture history was produced to coincide with the hype of the 1976 King Kong feature film.

It features an iconic, menacing molded plastic snarling face, a brown faux fur body, and tan felt chest/hand accents.

Condition Details (Please Read Before offerding/Buying):

• Tags & Markings: This plush does not have any tags remaining (no original cardboard hang tag or cloth tush tag). There are no molded manufacturer markings under the chin, which is common for specific manufacturing variations of this line.

• Feet: The bottoms of both feet are tattered, showing significant vintage wear and fabric loss that exposes the internal foam/cardboard padding structure (please see the close-up photo of the feet for details).

• Plush Body & Face: The main brown fur and plastic face are in good vintage shape with no major stains or unpleasant odors. The face paint has light, normal age-appropriate scuffs but retains excellent vintage detail.

This is a fantastic display piece or restoration project for any classic monster, sci-fi, or vintage Mego toy collector!
