Here\'s a Beauty of a 35mm Film SLR Camera from the late 1970\'s to early 1980\'s---- a near top-of-the-line camera from Canon--- the legendary Canon A-1 with 50mm f/1.8 standard FD lens.
It\'s in Excellent+ Condition--- Cosmetically and Everything Working well as far as I can tell. The Exterior of the body has only light signs of use and age --- a few light blemishes, a few nicks, fine scratches, but very little paint wear. Really Very Clean and smooth. The lens is in great condition too--- really only very minimal handling wear, and the glass looks Great too! Clear and Ready to Shoot.
Technically.... I\'m not a camera store technician, but I know cameras. The electronics seem to work, the red LED readout inside the viewfinder lights up and does it\'s thing at different modes and the shutter fires and all else seems OK when I ran it through some \"dry\" shooting and testing. There\'s a little bit of intermittent Shutter Squeak as most of these cameras have, but sometimes none at all. The inside of the film compartment is clean but it can probably new seals because it\'s 40+ Years old. But they should still get the job done well enough.As I said, the Lens glass is in Excellent condition--- clean with bright coatings. The aperture blades are clean and they works fine, and the focus is smooth and easy. BUT... I have not tested all the nuances for accuracy, so it\'s a little Bargain Priced.
So it\'s not quite Mint condition, but it\'s a Very Excellent Example of this camera. It comes with everything you see--- Camera, Lens, 1980 Olympics Lens Cap and Instruction Manual (that\'s a little roughed up.) And if I remember... a Skylight filter.

Unless it\'s Brand New... I can\'t guarantee that every single aspect may be Perfect... especially when it\'s a 40+ year old item! Any significant defects that I know of are either pictured or described to the best of my knowledge and I try to be detailed and truthful, but I can\'t describe every every millimeter of it. And.... I can\'t let people buy something, play with it, break it and then say it arrived that way. I\'m an honest guy, but there are many buyers who aren\'t. What you see is what you\'ll get and I package my items well, so it arrives in the same condition as shown.
