Available for purchase is a highly sought-after, rare piece of vintage action figure history: Cosmobot from The Fantastic World of The Inter-Changeables produced by Hourtoy in the mid-1980s.
For the uninitiated, this legendary line utilized the exact production molds of Mego’s iconic Micronauts Biotron / Takara's Micro Robotman, re-released in a wonderfully vibrant, retro "neon-wakko" color scheme of deep purple, bright yellow, and red with a polished chrome head.
Key Features & Details:
• Modular Versatility: Designed with classic 5mm peg mechanics allowing the arms, legs, and treads to separate and reconfigure into a space crawler vehicle or a tank configuration.
• Complete Accessories: Includes the often-missing yellow plastic adapter spruce part runner pieces, original missile/peg accessories, and the authentic folding paper Cosmobot Instruction Sheet.
• Packaging Preservation: Comes inside its original retail color box featuring fantastic vintage sci-fi artwork. The original protective brown cardboard inner divider structure tray is included to keep the robot safe.
Condition Note:
The robot is clean with strong plastic color formatting, great joints, and bright chrome head plating. The outer packaging shows expected vintage storage shelf wear, rubbing along the edges, and minor creasing/tape remnants as clearly pictured, but it retains excellent structure. The motorized functions are completely untested—screws were left undisturbed to protect the housing from stress. The item is sold strictly as-is in its beautiful display condition.
